Our Vision
Empowering Learning
Since 2007, Orion Online Learning’s system of schools has sought to improve the quality of education. Trinity Prep was opened with this vision in mind-we seek to empower you, our learners, to take your education into your own hands, by giving you to tools with which to succeed in the world beyond high school, and into career or higher education. We help you start the journey, and we are with you every step of the way.
Diploma Eligibility
Graduation Requirements
The requirements to meet diploma eligibility come from the courses that you are required to take to meet our requirements, and are listed below. We accept credits from any accredited high school, and those credits are your starting point. You don’t have any credits yet? That’s ok. We will work with you to meet our requirements on your timeline.
English Language Arts (4)
We require English 1, English 2, English 3, and English 4. The English 4 requirements may be met with a substitute course. Your adviser will assist.
Mathematics (3)
We require Algebra 1, Geometry, and you may select the third course from Personal Financial Literacy or other appropriate course. Your adviser will assist.
Science (3)
We require Biology, Physical Science (Physics), and the third course may come from a selection of sciences including Earth and Space science .
Social Studies (4)
We require World Geography, World History, United States History, US Government, and Economics. 1/2 of your World Geography credit may come from state history.
Electives (10)
Take from a wide variety of career preparation credits including Foreign Language (recommended), to computer sciences, to career endorsement areas.
Total Requirements (24)
Your total requirements for graduation are 24 credits. We will work with you to ensure that your elective credits will prepare you for your choice of what you will be doing after high school.

Founders
Our Founders
Our founders have dedicated their careers to empowering learners to graduate from high school. Trinity Prep is dedicated to our co-founder, Dr Lisa Chappell, who dedicated her life and career in furthering the lives of her learners. We celebrate her life and her dedicaction to the founding of Trinity Prep.
Dr. Joseph Gallegos
Co-Founder
Dr. Gallegos founded Orion Online Learning Inc., in 2007, and opened Orion High School soon thereafter. Orion High School has graduated thousands of students, and Dr. Gallegos opened Trinity Prep together with Dr. Chappell, with the goal of expanding success to more students.
Dr. Lisa Chappell
Co-Founder
Dr. Chappell opened her original school, Texas Success Academy, in 2011, and proceeded to assist countless students in the successful completion of high school. She successfully graduated thousands of students, and co-founded Trinity Prep in 2020.
